Early Learners

Every day is a new opportunity for discovery and growth at Guardian Early Learners – Altona North. With a range of resource-rich environments, including mud pits, wobbly bridge, a boat, and a range of age-specific ateliers, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled and spacious centre also has access to a school hall, which we utilise as a third kinder room, light atelier and as a space for our holiday care program. With a strong sustainability program, the centre boasts multiple herb and vegetable gardens, worm farms and compost bins.

Children get out and about on weekly excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. We visit locations such as Bunnings and the local library.

We are proud to have a diverse team of Educators and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays, including our end of year concert, which brings in over 500 guests.

Our on-site chef prepares six nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the centre, our community-minded chef and Educators host cooking classes for the children to get involved in to enhance their understanding of good nutrition.

You and Your Child

All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.
