Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Paradise Early Learning Child Care Centre & Kindergarten, which is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including an art atelier, herb and vegetable gardens and natural play structures, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled centre also has a number of centre pets, a project atelier, water pumps, a creek bed, mud pits, shady trees, dance programs and a garden that the children look after.

Children get out and about on excursions, so we have a great connection with the surrounding community. Back at the centre, we have an abundance of visitors throughout the year, ranging from space engineers to nutritionists.

With a community-minded team of Educators who have been with the centre for a long time, we are proud to have a culturally diverse team and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays.

Our on-site cooks prepare five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. To further explore food at the centre, our Educators host cooking classes for the children to get involved in to enhance their understanding of good nutrition.

Rhythm of The Day

With endless possibilities, there’s never a dull moment at Guardian and no two days are the same. Here’s what a day at Guardian might look like. Please note, this will vary depending on centre opening hours.

  • Morning

    Handover time with children, families and our friendly Educators. There's a chance for conversation to share what's important for the day/what's happened the night before at home.

    Breakfast time where families are welcome to stay and enjoy breakfast with the children.

    As children are arriving and families are coming and going, there's an opportunity for play as well as family grouping, open-plan play and multi-age grouping.

  • Morning

    As the children come together, planned experiences begin. This is where the Guardian programs and practices come to life. Examples of learning include numeracy, literacy, language, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, social skills, technology, science, creative arts, curiosity and more.

  • Morning

    There's an opportunity for children to come together and enjoy morning tea.

  • Mid-morning

    Following morning tea, the planned experiences continue. This includes both indoor and outdoor programs.

  • Afternoon

    There's an opportunity for children to come together for lunch. With an open-door policy, families are able to join the centre for meals and excursion if they wish.

  • Afternoon

    For children who want to, or need to, there's an opportunity to sleep, rest or relax. For children who don't need to rest, there are planned experiences, which are more likely to be outdoors.

  • Afternoon

    Children come together for afternoon tea in small groups or with siblings (they can also rest and play together, too). This time also presents an opportunity to reflect on the day.

  • End of the day

    As families arrive to pick up children, there's an opportunity to speak to Educators and share information about the day.

    Some centres offer early tea or light snack at the end of the day, which they can grab as they leave the centre. We’re mindful of how routines vary at home, so if throughout the day, we notice children look tired, food will be provided.

Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework.

You and Your Child

All Guardian Centres provide a Centre-to-Family communication platform so families can maintain contact with their children’s experiences through photos, stories and learning outcomes.

Our Centres use Storypark and each family is provided with a secure login to access on their computers, mobiles or apps.

We are delighted to announce that Paradise Early Learning Child Care Centre & Kindergarten has a newly renovated state-of-the-art yard which encourages children to discover, play, and learn.

Our centre cosy, warm, and caring with plenty of space for children to discover, play, and learn. We have several spacious outdoor environments tailored to different ages. From individual and group play to spontaneous and planned experiences, our play experiences are designed to help children develop into confident young individuals. We also care for a diverse range of animals at the centre. From observing chickens and patting guinea pigs to feeding fish and beautiful budgies, there are lots of opportunities to learn about different species and create inspired animal artwork!

We are proud to have educators and children that come from a variety of countries around the world, which means the children have lots of opportunities to learn about different cultures. We make a point to engage with families and learn about their background so that each child feels accepted and welcomed.

Our theme of diversity even extends to our delicious and nutritious meals. Our amazing chef creates dishes from all around the world, with families often requesting a copy of the recipes! The children are exposed to a variety of foods from all different cultures, with every effort made to use wholesome ingredients and lots of fruit and vegetables.

Open communication with families is critical, and we seek regular feedback on how we can improve our service. By getting to know our educators, you can be confident your child is in the care of passionate and experienced professionals.

4 Weeks Free Terms and Conditions

*Valid only for new enrolments for children attending a minimum of 3 full day sessions per week commencing before the end of June 2018 and have a formalised CCMS enrolment with CCR elected to be paid to the centre. 4 weeks “out of pocket” fees free of charge will appear on your account after 8 weeks of attendance, if your account is in line with the fee policy and you meet the other criteria. If applied this cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Valid until 31/6/18.
