Hopscotch House

Every day is an opportunity for discovery and growth at Hopscotch House. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including a vegetable garden, chickens, a cubby house, a mud pit and a range of age-specific ateliers, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled and spacious centre has a mix of indoor and outdoor learning environments – including two kindergarten programs – and boasts an exciting sustainability program that all the children love participating in.

With a variety of cultures amongst the Hopscotch House team, we love exploring cultural differences as well as embracing various holidays and celebrations throughout the year.

Our on-site cook, Elaine, prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. Elaine has a wealth of experience, having trained in London as a chef, and working in the childcare sector for a number of years. She looks forward to creating additional experiences for the children to explore food at the centre.

Learn More About Our Centre

Our fun-filled and carefully thought through programs support children in their development and help to foster a lifelong love of learning. We aim to support families by providing the best care possible with experienced and passionate educators.

Hopscotch House is allied with health professionals including Speech Pathologists and Psychologists who are available to consult with families and educators to assist in children’s early years journey.

We host family information evenings to assist families to build extra skills for their parenting toolkit and frequently bring in Teachers, Allied Health Specialists and community members to form a supportive team to help your child blossom.

Hopscotch House has two Kindergarten programs with fully qualified Early Childhood Teachers in both rooms as well as a Nursery, six weeks to five years rooms, spaced out over seven rooms. Through regular communication on StoryPark, we are able to show you what your child is learning each day with us and keeps communication open between your family and the centre. We also have an open door policy meaning you can call or drop into the centre whenever you like to visit your child and to chat with our team.

Our educator team are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. Children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experience.
