Nestled in the West Pennant Hills valley, Playdays offers children happy days in a place where they can develop and be nurtured in a safe, stimulating and inspiring environment that fosters a love of learning and strong friendships.

Your child will be greeted every day by these educators that they know and trust. ‘Our team are highly qualified and experienced but more importantly have sincere passion and dedication for what we do’ says Centre Manager, Kaitlyn Orchard.

All educational programs offered at Playdays Preschool and Long Day Care in West Pennant Hills are individually tailored to each child. Centre Manager, Kaitlyn Orchard explains; the team ‘promote learning and development by taking the children’s personal interests and turning them into unique opportunities for learning’. Orchard continues by outlining that school readiness is also a key area of focus within the centre, with educators ‘preparing the children for the big wide world through our unique school readiness program.’

The children at Playdays in Pennant Hills also love hosting special guests at their centre events. Visitors to Playdays include; NSW Dog Safety, LazyTown, Bob Turner Wildlife, and the Muru Mittigar Aboriginal community. The appearance of and interactions with these special guests has delighted the children, their families as well as the educators. Outside the centre, the annual Forest Elves and Fairies Walk in the local Cumberland State Forest has been a huge hit as well.

Guardian Early Learning Group plays an active role in enhancing your child’s nutrition with many centres preparing their own meals on-site each day comprising the freshest, seasonal ingredients and nutritionally balanced menus. Playdays Preschool and Long Day Care West Pennant Hills have embraced nutrition through their fantastic ‘garden to kitchen’ program led by their very own sustainability ambassador. Children can grow herbs and vegetables and harvest and use them in making their daily meals. The children often participate in the preparation of these meals enabling them to gain appreciation for where food comes from, the process of farm to plate, how food is prepared and the importance of healthy nutrition.

Variety is also important at all Guardian Early Learning centres with the use of a rotational system to keep menus fresh and appealing. Breakfast is provided for early starters, along with morning and afternoon tea, lunch and a late snack at the end of the day. Find out more about nutrition at Guardian Early Learning Centres here.
