City Sensational at George Street

Child Care Sydney CBD George Street

If you want to spend less time commuting while still enjoying access to quality early learning and child care, George Street Early Learning Centre is here to support you. With the city as a backdrop, our children are encouraged and supported as they explore, develop and grow.

Our wonderful, caring centre is conveniently located in the Sydney CBD. Right next to Town Hall train station, it’s easy to drop off, pick up and pop by anytime. With longer opening hours that harmonise with a CBD lifestyle, we’re proud to offer a no-fuss environment providing everything your child needs during their day.

Spread across an entire level of the modern HSBC building, George Street Early Learning Centre brings together the best of city living with natural environments. A large, well-resourced indoor space comprised of several rooms with windows look out over the city centre. At the same time, two beautiful natural outdoor spaces let the children safely enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

While our location is often what first appeals, it’s our much-loved educators that’ll keep you coming back. Equipped with the highest-quality learning materials and facilities for every level of early childhood development, our George Street educators ensure the children are respected and stimulated to develop their natural curiosity and interests.

Stephanie Morrison, our George Street Centre Manager, holds a Bachelor of Early Education as well as many years experience in early childhood learning. Leading the way in encouraging children to take part in their own learning, Stephanie ensures they’re given the opportunity to explore a wide variety of environments and experiences. Using open-ended resources, she encourages their natural curiosity to think, discover and learn.

Stephanie promotes a strong multi-cultural setting within the centre, having studied and worked in Ireland, Sweden and Scotland. In fact, second languages are not uncommon at our George Street centre and we’re proud to be able to encourage a sense of belonging to all children with languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese and Hindi.

We’re lucky enough to have two Stephanies! Stephanie Hassan, our Educational Leader, is passionate about providing quality care and safe learning environments for children to explore and learn. She makes it her mission to make sure the centre maintains a high standard of early learning for all children, from nursery to preschool age.
